Fun Baby Animal Game

A Baby Animal Game is one of those baby shower games you can do by yourself, much like a lot of the games on this site.

All you need is a good list of 10 to 20 different animals and their young. This game is also known as the baby animal name game.

You can play it in a number of ways such as matching game, fill in the blank or however else you think it will work best for your guests.

How to play baby Shower Animal Game

Make a list of 10 to 20 animals on a sheet of paper. Make sure you have enough game sheet and a pen for all your guests. Give them 2 to 3 minutes to fill in the baby animal. When time is up tell them to trade sheets with the person next to them to tally the score. Call out the answers and the person with the most correct answer wins!

Name the Boy or Girl Baby Animal

Another way to play the baby animal game is to have guests name the male or female version of the animal.

How to play

If the guest of honor is having a girl give them a list of boy/male animal and tell them to fill in the name of the female form of the animal. But if she is having a boy just switch it around and ask them to name the male form of the animal. For example a male cat is called a tomcat and a female cat is called a queen.
A male bird is called a cock and a female bird is called a hen.

To make it even more challenging have guests try to name the male, female and baby animal example Tomcat + Queen = Kitten
